Web Designer: Over the past decade I have built, edited and provided consultancy for a number of websites. Beyond my own website, I have also built websites for the Manchester Wesley Research Centre, http://www.mwrc.ac.uk, as well as those for which I continue to offer editorial support. For instance, I am a consultant for the Returning to the Church conference series which is currently running from 2009-2011. The site url is http://www.returningtothechurch.org.uk where we are posting conference papers and a central discussion space for participants to share ideas. As well, I am the web editor for the Centre for Religion and Political Culture at http://religionandpoliticalculture.com. This website provides information on events which CRPC members are participating within, information about its network research projects and themes, links to partner institutions, and information for potential postgraduate students. In order to build and maintain these sites, I have developed a number of software proficiencies with Microsoft Office products, Adobe Acrobat Professional, Adobe Photoshop, and Sitemanager for collaborative website editing. Lastly, I am fluent with Blackboard learning environments and have built sites for the Religions and Theology Subject Area at the University of Manchester for the large undergraduate core course, Introduction to the Study of Religions and Theology.
Recruitment Lecturer: In coordination with the Religions and Theology admissions and recruitment team at The University of Manchester, I have been giving a series of lecture/seminars designed to introduce high school students to religions and theology at the University of Manchester. They are designed to draw students' attention to the differences in higher education approaches to the discipline as well as key information about the benefits of studying at Manchester. Our aim is both to widen participation for those students who may not think of a religions and theology degree at university, as well as attract students who are considering a range of university options in this discipline. An example of the seminar can be found at the following url: http://timothywstanley.com/blog/deciphering-god.html.
