Conversational Philosophy

  • I work in public university. I've come to think this is the best context for teaching and writing on deep differences about what matters most. When it comes to religion, no tradition is privileged, none is presupposed, and every student and colleague meets the subject on equal footing, whatever they believe. Consistent with the University of Newcastle's policies and Australian law, I do not discriminate in admissions, teaching, supervision, scholarships or employment on the basis of religion, or any other protected attribute.
